The EPAAR does respect and uphold international laws with regard to copyrights as most of us are in one way or another protected by these laws. The following 'Rules' are in place to guarantee all the 'Rights' of artists and photographers everywhere. Since the EPAAR and it's affilates are composed almost entirely of original artists, we want to ensure all our member's rights and benefits, and offer a secure and responsible association that will represent and promote all of its united membership.
The terms for membership are specifically designed for the protection of Artist's and photographers rights and their security:
All members must adhere to the regulations of this EPAAR fully. DON'T apply here if you aren't willing to abide by each rule, therfore, please read the complete rules list before filling out the membership form. These rules are in place to safe guard all of the best intersts and rights of our membership. We take this seriously, and all the rules below are enforced and applied equally to sites large and small. Thus we have expectations of our membership, and they are as follows:
/. Our WebRing HTML fragment and logo must appear on your main page proudly, not on your links page, nor on a seperate 'webring listings' page nor any other page that is obscured and difficult to locate. This is to ensure the easiest navigation for the surfers of this webring AND, more importantly, to ensure high visibility to those unfamiliar with the Erotic Photography and Art WebRing.
/. No webpage will be considered that has no free visible erotic photography or art samples/content.
b/. If your webpage is a free site, AVS protected or has otherwise restrictive entry requirements implemented then there must be a free public display of Erotic Photography or Artwork samples visible, at least 4 large, focused and clear pics that give a good indication of artist's work.
/. Sites that include modified art, meaning, digitally or otherwise changing or manipulating another artist's work, copying art from other artists or creating forgeries will not be considered for membership, and any site that is found in violation will be subject to immediate removal.
/. The EPAAR does not believe in censorship of creative visual expression. However, certain subjects including the exploitation of minors and animals and excessive violence/blood are taboo. No kids, No bestiality, No Snuf. No links to any such sites can be listed upon your site including your links pages. No 'Lolita' photography or art section may appear on your site.
/. Your site must not be affiliated, associated or have links to any 'bestiality' sites. You mustn't be edorsing, profiting in any way or have any artwork displayed on any 'bestiality' sites. You may not have a 'Lolita' photography or art section on your site.
/. If art is offered for sale in any way or form, either digitally, in print, original art or in any other form, webmasters have to be in full legal possession of all rights according to international law. If there's any doubt to that regard, based upon our discretion, the site can not qualify for entry and/or can and will be removed.
/. Collectors and appreciators of Erotic Art who display their collection on the internet, without permission of the artist(s) for whatever reasons, do actually infringe on international copyright laws, but we feel that the display of collections is benificiairy to the artist as long as proper creditation is added and if it's not for personal gain or profit. The artist's work must be sufficiently credited according to our standards and discretion.
/. Collectors and appreciators of Erotic Art cannot have membership or AVS in place, as they are not in full legal possession of the artworks they display, therfore may not finacially profit from the displayed artwork(s) in any way.
/. Any site involved in the distribution of artworks without proper permission and creditation of the artist, in any way or form, will be not be considered for membership and/or be subject to removal.

/. The EPAAR is operated and affiliated with The Erotic Art WebRing. It has come to our attention that there have been several other Rings that have started up which are using the EXACT same name as ours, the original. To save our surfers from the confusion, and to ensure maximum visitation of our members sites, we request that you refrain from membership of any other Ring aside from ours, the original, titled 'The Erotic Art WebRing'. Exisiting sites in violation will be removed immediately.
/. We reserve the right to deny membership to any site who in our OPINION does not compliment our collective membership or appeal to our valued surfer's demographic. Sites with minimal or hidden samples, offensive, political or tasteless content, weak site design, over use of java script, pop-up consoles, page chaining or the over abundent display of advertising/porno banners will be denied membership.
/. We are not accepting sites hosted by Geocities, Xoom, Tripod or The Globe or any other free hosting company. Only sites with their own domain names will be considered.
/. Sites who use Microsoft's Front Page or their other software in their site's construction must make sure that their content is visible for ALL surfers to see and admire which includes those who use Netscape Navigator. Please note that your site will be reviewed using Netscape Navigator as it is the browser of preference for those in the management of the EPAAR.
/. Regarding 3D digital art sites (Poser users): In regards to the use of the various artistic elements described below, the Erotic Photography & Art Webring cannot accept the membership application of sites in which the elements listed below constitute more than 25% of the erotic artwork displayed at the applying site.
